City offices will be closed on May 27 due to the observed Memorial Day holiday.
Garbage, Recycling, Bulky, and Yard Waste Collection Schedule
All garbage, recycling, bulky and yard waste collection will operate on a one-day delay. Residents are reminded to place their carts at the curb no later than 6 a.m. on the day of their collection.
Rider Transit
Rider Transit will be closed and buses will not operate on Monday, May 27. Regular service will resume on Tuesday, May 28.
Parks and Recreation
On Monday, May 27, the Academy and Hartsell Recreation Centers and the Logan Multi-Purpose Center will follow holiday hours and open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The David Phillips Activity Center, ClearWater Arts Center & Studios, and Lake Fisher will be closed.
Additionally, from Tuesday, May 28 through Friday, May 31, the gymnasium at the Academy Recreation Center will be closed from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. while new lighting is installed. The gym will be open with limited availability from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. For more information, please call 704-920-5620.
