We have a new, more convenient way to manage your utility account. Our online Utility Customer Portal gives you more self-service options to be able to quickly and conveniently pay your bill, enroll in auto-pay, set payment reminders, update your account information, view your water and electric usage, and transfer your service when you move. 

Visit myaccount.concordnc.gov and click "sign up now" to sign up and create an account to begin using the Utility Customer Portal.

Do I need to create a new login?

Yes. Customers that wish to have online access to their utility accounts to use self-service options including account updates and service transfers must create a new login and password.

To create a new account, users will need to click the "sign up now" button on the right side of the new payment portal homepage. After they have created their new account, they can use the login feature on the left side to access their account.

I'm currently enrolled in auto-pay. Do I need to re-enroll?

Yes. Customers that wish to remain on Autopay will need to set up recurring payments on the new platform to deduct the amount due from the bank account of your choice.

I currently receive paperless billing. Will that change?

No. Customers currently enrolled in paperless billing will continue to receive paperless billing.

Have the payment options changed?

No.  You will be able to pay using the same payment methods as you do now.   Any previously saved payment methods will need to be added to the new payment platform.

Is there a fee to pay online?

Yes, our payment processor charges a small fee of $2.99 for card and digital wallet payments and one-time e-check payments.

To avoid paying the $2.99 fee, consider enrolling in auto-pay, or you can pay by cash or check. You can mail us a check or drop it in the drive up payment box located on Market Street beside City Hall.  You can also pay by cash using one of our two convenient bill pay kiosks. We have a kiosk located inside City Hall and another located just outside City Hall on Market Street.

No Fee Payment Options

The following options do NOT require a processing fee.

Automatic Bank Draft (using checking account)

This is by far the easiest option of all and ensures your payment is on time each month - one less thing to worry about. To enroll in Autopay, log in to your Utiltiy Customer Portal account and select Bills & Payment from the left side menu.  Then select “Autopay” and “Add Schedule” to enroll.

Mail Us a Check

The City has implemented a lock box payment processing program. To assist us in providing you the most efficient processing of your utility payment, please use the return envelope and billing stub provided to you each month. Our payment processing address is:

Pay in Person

A convenient payment kiosk is located in the City Hall lobby, 35 Cabarrus Avenue W., and on the Market St. side of the building.  Credit card and check payments at the kiosk incur a convenience fee of $2.99. There is no fee for cash payments.  A drive up drop box is also available on Market Street beside City Hall.
