Welcome to the City of Concord Housing Department

The City of Concord Housing Department has been committed to providing safe, decent and affordable housing to low-income residents in Cabarrus County since 1956. The Housing Department offers affordable rental housing and four (4) public housing sites. The Housing Department administers a number of  programs, such as the Housing Choice Voucher Program, the Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS), and the ROSS Homeownership Program. These programs help to promote more self-sufficiency and economic homeownership opportunities for local residents.

Mission Statement:

The Concord Housing Department serves low-income families for whom conventional housing is not affordable. Our mission is to provide safe, decent, and sanitary housing while supporting their efforts to achieve independence and self-sufficiency.

The Housing Team invites you to explore our website to learn more about our programs and the opportunities we offer.
