Kristen Marckese
On 11/23/2021, while working at the customer service counter at the commercial terminal, Mrs. Marckese was contacted by a customer who had left their book bag in the parking deck at the airport. Mrs. Marckese personally went and walked the parking deck, locating the individual’s person belongs. Mrs. Marckese then secured the bag, contacted the owner, and turned the bag over to Allegiant to be picked up at a later time. I feel this is above and beyond and would like to recognize Mrs. Marckese for her actions.

Brannan Henry and Station 1
Captain Henry and the guys at Station 1 hosted our Cub Scout Pack for a tour of the station and a safety lesson. They were incredibly accommodating and showed the kids a great time. It was a night they'll never forget, my 6 year old talks about it every day. Thank you Captain Henry and the entire Concord Fire Department for choosing a life of helping others and for always being a great example for those of us who look up to you!

Concord Officer Honey
I witnessed Officer Honey wait patiently on the side of the interstate with a young lady who had blown out her tire. Officer Honey showed extreme kindness and allowed the young lady to wait in his warm car while he stood out in the cold changing her tire! This officer did a great job!

MPO Ryan Corl
I had a friend flying in from Florida to the Concord Regional Airport. I ended up with an issue of picking him up so I needed to leave a car for him. The problem was going to be getting him the keys and him knowing where I parked. I was put in touch with Officer Ryan Corl and he was able to figure out how to resolve my issue. I appreciate him going above and beyond his normal duties to help me out.

MPO Jason Collins
On Nov 5th our Basic Law Enforcement Training class was studying Preparing and Testifying in Court. We needed an officer to come to the courtroom and show the students the proper way to testify in court and the officer we had lined up couldn't make it at the last minute. Officer Collins volunteered to fill in and help us out. He was very professional and did a great job. He was able to share some very insightful information with the class that they can use in the field. Thank you Officer Collins for your help and your service to the community.

Kristen Boyd-Sullivan
I wanted to shout out Kristen for her prompt response to my email today about a potential rezoning of 50 acres along Hwy 73. Within just a few hours of me emailing the planning department, she called me. She took her time walking me through what the land is zoned as currently, what a business wants to rezone it to and what could happen in the coming months for the property. Kristen was extremely professional, nice and very educated! I appreciate her time and patience walking me through the process!

Peyton Deese
Peyton has a very pleasant attitude and professional presentation with how she communicates. When I told her my reason for calling in, she responded as a well informed person who proceeded to be efficient. As I shared that I needed a copy of the lease so I could show the school district proof of residence so I could apply to the program choice school option my son wants, she gave some kind words and even said that she hopes things work out. People love to talk about bad experiences with customer service but remain silent when good experiences happen. She informed me about things on my account I was not aware of. Provided direction and solution. She deserves a HIGH FIVE!

Lorry Segall
In a panic, I called to get proof of account transaction for my leased home with move-in day THAT DAY! I was connected to an extremely pleasant and helpful Miss Lorry on the other end!!! Within 10 minutes she had the letter to my email inbox so I could forward to my landlord! She even warned me to look in my spam folder cause could go there sometimes…. And she was RIGHT! In addition, I then emailed her with a question she responded immediately!!! You don’t find people this friendly and efficient everyday - she’s a keeper! My moment of panic RESOLVED and reassurance that I’d have my utilities moving from Ohio to NC WAS ALL DUE TO MISS LORRY! I appreciate you!

This team of telecommunicators embraced the spirit of Team Concord while working with the electric department on Saturday, August 14th. On call crews had been working relentlessly for the last 24 hours to restore power to the citizens of Concord during numerous storms. The Communications team expressed empathy and their support by coming together to provide the electric crews with lunch. This simple act of kindness is the living, breathing heart beat of what it means to be Team Concord. Thank you Communications for your thoughtfulness, and thank you to the electric department for your willingness and dedication to aiding the citizens of Concord.

I want to thank these employees for helping with my utility account in which we found the SSI discount was not reflected. They were all very nice and professional looking into the situation. I was very anxious and worried about my bill. I was called back and given an explanation of what happened and provided a credit for the time this occurred. I pray for blessings for all of these ladies and want to thank them for such great customer service.
