The City of Concord government offices will close on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Several services will operate on modified schedules due to the holiday.
Solid Waste Services
There is no garbage, recycling, bulky waste, or yard waste collection on Thanksgiving Day. Customers with a Thursday collection day will have a one-day delay due to the holiday. The Solid Waste Department will work on Friday, November 24, to service the Thursday routes. Customers are reminded to have their containers at the curb no later than 6 a.m. on their collection day.
Parks and Recreation
The Academy, Hartsell, and Logan Multi-Purpose Recreation Centers will close on Thursday, November 23. The centers will follow holiday hours on Friday, November 24 and open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The David Phillips Activity Center and ClearWater Arts Center & Studios will be closed on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24.
Rider Transit
Rider Transit will close, and buses will not operate on Thanksgiving Day. Regular service will resume on Friday, November 24.
