The City of Concord is advising customers to use caution and be aware of potential late payment and other user fees when using the online third-party bill payment system, doxo.com. The city wants customers to know that doxo.com is not an approved vendor, partner, or in any way affiliated with the City of Concord.

Recently, the city has received complaints from utility customers that their payments are not being received by the due date. The City of Concord cannot control when customer payments from doxo.com are received. This may result in late fees added to customer utility bills or disconnection of electric or water service due to nonpayment. Doxo.com may also charge customers additional service fees.

Customers should visit the city’s bill pay website, concordnc.gov/billpay, for a full list of options to directly pay the city and help ensure their payment is received on time. The city provides several options for customers to pay their bill, including enrollment in autopay, one-time online payments, a drive-up payment drop box and bill pay kiosks located at City Hall. Customers can also mail their payment by check using the pay stub included in their monthly statement.

Customers needing assistance should contact Customer Care at 704-920-5555.
