The City of Concord government offices will close on Tuesday, December 24 through Wednesday, December 26 in observance of the Christmas holiday, as well as Wednesday, January 1, 2025, for New Year’s Day. Several services will operate on modified schedules due to the observed holidays.

Solid Waste Services

Week of December 23-27:

Garbage, recycling, yard, and bulky waste collection will operate on a one-day delay December 25 and 26. Loose leaf collection crews will continue to collect as scheduled.

Week of December 30, 2024 -January 3, 2025:

All collection services will operate on a one-day delay January 1 and January 2.

Extra bags and flattened cardboard are allowed outside of customer trash carts beginning December 26 through January 3. Residents should place extra bags and flattened cardboard at least two feet from any cart or object for safe collection.

Live Christmas trees may be placed curbside (with stand, lights, and ornaments removed) with customers’ regular yard waste. Artificial trees and garland are considered garbage and should not be placed with yard waste. Instead, these items should go curbside as bulky trash for collection.
