The City of Concord 2026 Recycling & Bulky Waste Collection Calendar is now available online for residents. The annual calendar notes the blue and green recycling weeks and the City-observed holidays when there will be no collection, and instead customers will have a one-day delay the remainder of the collection week.

To encourage residents to recycle right, the 2026 Recycling & Bulky Waste Calendar also highlights the top five contaminants found in Concord’s household recycling carts: plastic bags, Styrofoam, textiles, tanglers like cords and rope, and garbage. These items cannot be recycled and should instead be placed in residents’ garbage carts.

Residents are encouraged to download the free CARTology app to easily look up their collection day, set reminders, search items to learn how to properly dispose of them, and get notifications about collection schedule changes. The app is available on both Apple and Android devices. Residents can also use the CARTology app functions through the City’s website at concordnc.gov/whatsmyday.
