In case you missed it, Allegiant Airlines began a new non-stop service from Concord-Padgett Regional Airport to Melbourne-Orlando International Airport on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Prior to depature, Mayor Dusch, Council Members Brian King and Ella Mae Small, City Manager Lloyd Payne, Assistant City Managers Josh Smith and Pam Hinson, joined Aviation Director Dirk Vanderleest, airport staff, passengers, and the flight crew for an official ribbon cutting and gate celebration.

ALLEGIANT BEGINS NEW NONSTOP SERVICE TO FLORIDA WITH ONE-WAY FARES AS LOW AS $33*
CONCORD, NC - Allegiant today begins a new nonstop route to Melbourne, Fla. via Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB) from Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA). To celebrate, the company is offering one-way fares on the new route as low as $33.*
“Melbourne provides a variety of attractions and activities to cater to any traveler’s itinerary and we’re excited to provide Concord residents with convenient, low-cost flights to get there,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue and planning. “We think vacationers will enjoy our brand of air travel: nonstop flights without the hassle of layovers or connections.”
The new route will operate twice weekly. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.
