Project Description
The program will be administered by the PAC and will offer financial assistance to property owners and Muralists seeking to enhance the exterior of a structure with the addition of a mural.
Applications will be reviewed and approved by the PAC, and will be based on meeting the objectives of the program. Applications are accepted throughout the calendar year and awards will be announced in April and October.

3. View or Download the Sample Copy of the Grant Agreement you would enter into, with City of Concord, should your grant proposal be approved by the City Public Art Commission.
Applications will be reviewed bi-annually at the Deadline times of April 1 and October 1. If your application was submitted prior to either deadline, the next deadline is when it will be reviewed for assessment. Thus, if you submit in June or July, for example, you will not receive an answer on whether your proposal has been approved for a grant, until the next Deadline-related cycle (i.e. after October 1st). If you submit an application for example on March 30th, it would be reviewed the week following, and if it meets all criteria, the Public Art Commission would vote to approve grant awards at their Regular Meeting on the Third Wednesday of that April.

Opportunity to create a vibrant and engaging mural on the concrete-block “Tennis Wall” at Les Myers Park (338 Lawndale Ave. SE) in Concord, NC. Open to professional or amateur artists or artist teams with demonstrated experience in successfully completing large-scale mural projects.
