FUTURE Carolina Thread Trail Cross-Connectivity Downtown Concord Phase
Area: Irish Buffalo Creek Greenway
Project Status: In Design
An approximately 1.05-mile connection is planned, using sidewalk between the McEachern Greenway to the future Irish Buffalo Creek greenway.
Hospital Phase
Area: McEachern Greenway
Project Status: Design and Right-of-Way acquisition underway.
This project will extend the current greenway north to Mirmar St. NE and will include a pedestrian bridge allowing access to the Branchview Dr. NE side of Three-Mile Branch.
Wilson Street Park Extension
Area: McEachern Greenway
Project Status: Estimated Completion - Summer 2023
A restroom facility serving the McEachern greenway is currently being constructed at Wilson Street Park
