Public Fingerprints

You may have your fingerprints done at police headquarters, 41 Cabarrus Ave. West, on Tuesdays starting at 8:30am until 11:30am and on Thursdays from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The cost is $10 for one set, $15 for two sets and $20 for three sets. You will need an appointment prior to getting your fingerprints taken on these days. You may call 704-920-5000 to make an appointment.

This service is not available on any City of Concord Observed Holiday.

Citizens may file certain types of police reports over the phone. Call - 704-920-5000.

You may not use this site to report a Stolen Vehicle. You may not use this site to report any type of Traffic Accident or Hit and Run. The only crimes that can be reported through telephone or online are listed below. Everything else must be dispatched through the City of Concord Communications Center (DIAL 911 for emergency or non-emergency at 704-786-9155).

CRIMES YOU MAY REPORT ONLINE OR BY TELEPHONE:

Fraud/Identity Theft – A person knowingly obtains, possesses, or uses information of another person, living or dead, with the intent to represent themselves as the other person for the purposes of making financial or credit transactions, or to gain anything of value, benefit, or advantage, or for the purpose of avoiding legal consequences.

  • Harassing/Annoying Phone Calls
  • Larceny (Stolen Property)
  • Littering/Illegal Dumping
  • Vandalism
  • Damage to personal or real property

After filing your report online you will be contacted by a representative of the Concord Police Department to review your information and you will be provided with a report number.

If you would prefer to file your report over the telephone, you may speak with someone from the Telephone Reporting Unit (TRU) at 704-920-5000 during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Making a false report to law enforcement agencies and officers is a crime. See N.C.G.S. 14-225. The Concord Police Department will seek prosecution of anyone who violates this law by filing a false, misleading or unfounded report through this website.
