Fire Station 8

Dedicated on September 11, 2002, Concord Fire Station No. 8 is located at 1485 Old Charlotte Rd. One (1) Community Room is available at this location available to the public. Engine Company 8, Brush 8, Air and Light Unit, Investigation Unit, the Emergency Command Center, a reserve engine, fire safety house, and the department’s hose tender are quartered at this station.

Fire Station No.8’s first due area includes a mixture of residential, multi-family, industrial, commercial occupancies as well as the Hwy. 49 corridor. Additionally, effective July 1, 2011 this is the primary station to provide service in the Jackson Park Fire District through a contract with Cabarrus County.

• Brandon Ridge
• Kiser Woods
• Ramsgate 

During 2006, this facility was updated to include installation of a vehicle exhaust system.
