Encroachment Agreements in Downtown Concord

The City recently modified the Concord Code of Ordinances, Chapter 50, Article II - Obstructions as pertaining to Encroachment Agreements and now allows for the use of public sidewalks for Retail Merchandise Display in addition to Sidewalk Dining.

Downtown Sidewalk Design Guidelines for Businesses within the Downtown Municipal Services District (MSD) were also added. Details are viewable in the Downtown Sidewalk Design Guidelines.

The application process for permitting is now open and the application can be accessed here.
